Hi, I'm Gonzalo Paternoster

You’re probably wondering what the heck this Gonzalo guy is all about huh?!

Basically, what you need to know about me can be summed up by the following list:

• I’m Argentinian, so I talk fast, and I’m usually the guy laughing the loudest in a room.
• I've been married to my high school sweetheart for over 20 years now. We have 3 amazing, crazy kids and a spoiled chocolate lab.
• I love the great outdoors - anything related to being in the mountains.
• I love a good challenge.

Life was awesome my senior year of High School.

I was school body president, had college scholarship offers to the top schools in the country, a political internship with the government, and (most importantly) a really hot girlfriend.

I was on top of the world... and it was only going to get better.

Next thing I know, I’m being deported back to my birth country, Argentina.

Yes... you read that right.

Deported.

As in illegal alien.

Get out. We don’t want you here.

Come to find out it was because our immigration attorney forgot to renew our visas, so we “over-extended” our stay. Bastard!

I was born in Argentina, but my family immigrated to the United States when I was only six years old.

So suddenly being forced to go to a country I didn’t even remember wasn’t easy.

Not by a long shot.

Once I made it back to the good old USA (a miracle story for another time) I had to figure out what to do with my life now that all my previous opportunities had disappeared.

Well you know what they say about when one door closes?

A lot of doors have opened for me over the last 20 years. Some I had to kick open!

Every door different, but well worth walking into. Each experience along the way enabled me to create and use the winning strategies I now share with entrepreneurs all over the world.

I’ve done a lot of different things in my career, but the ones listed below are a few of my favorite:

In 2001 I got my first consulting gig… and it was a big one. I walked out with my first 6-figure check - OMG! It was an amazing opportunity to work with THE business management “guru” who’s book In Search of Excellence is said to be the greatest business book of all time. As a top thought leader, his theories are still taught in top MBA programs today.

My role was to create and implement internet marketing strategies that would allow Tom and his brand to experience the same level of success and influence in the digital world that he already achieved in the printed world.

I got to see magic unfold. When a team is given a clear plan of action - with simple steps to follow, they can implement it with lightning speed. I believe simplistic proven strategies always trump complex theories, and I’m proud to say they are using several of the strategies I implemented still to this day.

Working for a company in the investment banking world, I was in charge of their online technology and strategies. At the time vFinance was the #1 venture capital resource for entrepreneurs in the world. By connecting tens of thousands of companies to investment firms and angel investors, we had unprecedented access to the most successful and highest growth companies in the world.

This is when I discovered the 80/20 rule of operations. That identifying and focusing on just one or two areas can produce 80% of a company’s growth. I’ve been able to use this knowledge and experience in my own companies, as well as the companies of the people I coach to help scale their operations like the ones I had been exposed to years earlier.

I didn’t know anything about real estate when I opened my first office in South Florida. It took me 9 months to get my first deal, and it definitely tested my resilience and commitment. But fast forward a year later and I had 4 offices throughout the state, and was one of the largest VA loan originators in the country.

My willingness to go outside the box and do the type of direct marketing that nobody else in the industry was doing, was a major factor in the growth and success of the company. I learned pretty fast that I had a great ability to create an influx of leads, but I had to make sure my operations were optimized to handle the volume. Easily one of most adventurous projects I’ve ever done! Inspired by Bono’s (RED) Campaign, the Safe Sex Passport was the World’s First STD /HIV Identification Card for the dating community.

I wanted to officially launch on World Aids Day, knowing that it was perfect timing to get the exposure this project needed. I had a small marketing budget, so there was no way in hell I was going to spend the $20,000 a MONTH that most PR firms wanted to charge me. (Especially since they weren’t willing to guarantee results!)

So I did what I do best... I outsourced it! My wife spent the weekend devouring How-To books, then created a system and checklist for getting PR. One of my employees (without any experience) used the system to get press not only in the US, but internationally as well. This included coverage in over 6,000 newspapers, TV news agencies, and radio stations. Remember there is no such thing as bad publicity - this one is pretty funny!

The short answer? Because it does! Over 4,000 entrepreneurs and business owners from 57 countries can't be wrong.

You'll never grow your business into the business you want... doing it all yourself. My system will take you from being your company’s most valuable employee (aka slave to your business), to a business that runs like a well-oiled machine.

I used to be just like a lot of my clients. I was successful, but still experienced the same fears and hesitations about outsourcing and systemization as they do. At times I lived in overwhelm, exhaustion, and stress, trying to keep all the balls in the air. When my kids were small I didn't see them much. I became a certified fat-ass from stress and convenience eating, and I worked non-stop, sometimes through the night to get the job done.

Bottom line: I was fat, tired, and burned out.

I eventually bit the outsourcing and systems bullet, and guess what guys? It didn’t kill me.

It actually saved me.

So now I spend my time preaching the gospel of outsourcing and systems to other entrepreneurs who need salvation and redemption.
